How to get to Bama Breeze

Fly direct to the historical village of Inhambane or via Maputo from O.R. Tambo Airport in Johannesburg.

Access by road is pleasant and scenic and the 485km drive from Maputo to Inhambane takes about 6 hours. The roads are tarred and suitable for normal vehicles.

Directions

From the Komatipoort (Ressano Garcia) border gate it is around 100km (62 miles) to Maputo.
Upon entering Maputo follow the “Xai Xai” direction boards.
Leaving Maputo behind continue straight on the “EN1” through Xai Xai.
At “Lindela” there is a fork to the right. Do not continue straight.  Take the right hand side as it leads to Inhambane.
Once you are in Inhambane follow the direction boards to Tofo.
At the old Bar Barbalaza continue straight on the tar road. At the end of the tar road continue straight onto the sand road and follow the road to the right. You will see Bama Breeze on your left hand side (double story house).
